This Dangerous Goods (DG) Driver Training course provides the knowledge and competency required to safely transport dangerous goods by road in accordance with the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road & Rail (ADG Code).
The course covers Dangerous Goods classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9, and is designed for drivers and transport personnel involved in handling, transporting, loading or consigning dangerous goods. The training focuses on real-world compliance, safety responsibilities and industry expectations to prevent harm to people, property and the environment.
On successful completion, you will be issued a Statement of Attainment. Please note this is not your Dangerous Goods Driver Licence. After training, you will need to apply to your state licensing authority. Additional requirements may include: minimum age, current driver licence, suitable traffic history, medical assessment, and criminal history check.
